No. Surface Medic was specifically designed to not etch or harm grout. They can confidently be used on any surface unaffected by water. Uniquely, Surface Medic will dissolve soap scum WITHOUT needing another formulation to attain undesirable high or low pH values (many products do this). Both products are considered low neutral. The formulations of these two products has been used to solve grout deterioration problems in over 5,000 commercial showers/floors nationwide for over 9 years now (2020).
