EnCapX™ Industrial is specifically designed to manage common nuisances with odors and fats, oils and greases (F.O.G.’s) typically found in drains, lift stations, grease interceptors, and collection systems.  The formulation contains our Encapsulation Technology with a proprietary biostimulant package and microbes.

Reduces BOD, TSS, improves oxygen levels and reduces odors normally associated with grease traps, lift stations and collection systems.  The reduction of hydrogen sulfide gas in collection systems will reduce the corrosion factor extending the life of your concrete and metal surfaces.

The EnCapX™ Industrial formulation contains no emulsifiers or free enzymes and meets stringent municipal effluent discharge requirements for wastewater.

 

Where to Use

Specifically developed for use in drains, grease interceptors, lift stations, and collection systems.

Can be used with hot water and on hot surfaces and does not contain free enzymes or emulsifiers.

Use Instructions

Always refer to SDS and product label prior to use.  Do not use and/or combine with other chemicals.

We recommend the discontinued use of extremely acidic or alkaline cleaners to maximize natural biological efficiency of your system.

 

Product Dosing

We recommend the use of automated dispensers to reduce labor costs and ensure consistency in your treatment program.  Manual dosing is acceptable as well.

 

Regular Drain Maintenance

When using EnCapX™ Floor and Drain as a floor cleaner, regular drain maintenance is not required except for troubled drains.

When using other floor cleaners, dilute 1:5 (1gal makes 5gal) and spray 4oz into drain daily after cleaning floor

 

Troubled Drains

When using EnCapX™ Floor and Drain as a floor cleaner: Dilute 1:5, auto-dispense or spray 4oz into drain daily after cleaning floor.

When using other floor cleaner: Dilute 1:5 dilute, auto-dispense or spray 8oz into drain daily after cleaning floor.

 

Grease Interceptors

Treat drain closest to interceptor beneath sink or dishwasher.

• 500 gal, 1:5 dilute, 21oz daily
• 1,000 gal, 2:5 dilute, 21oz daily
• 1,500 gal, 3:5 dilute, 21oz daily
• 2,000 gal, 4:5 dilute, 21oz daily
• Above 2,000 gal, Undiluted, 21oz daily

 

NOTE: When using EnCapX™ Floor and Drain as a floor cleaner, reduce daily dispensing to 14oz.

 

Lift Stations

Treat drain closest to lift station or directly into lift station.

• < 100,000gpd, 2:5 dilute, 21oz daily
• > 100,000gpd, 3:5 dilute, 21oz daily

When using EnCapX™ Floor and Drain as a floor cleaner, reduce daily dispensing to 14oz.

The addition of an aerator in the system will increase oxygen and assist with bioremediation.

 

Sewage Collection Systems

• 1:5 dilute, 21oz daily every 1,500ft of collection line

Inquire about directions for dispensing system in manholes.

 

Septic Tanks

• Use undiluted, 8oz weekly flushed down toilet for every 750gal capacity

 

Severe Systems

Occasionally, unique treatments and solutions are required for systems overloaded with grease and odors due to excessive production of organics, under-sized drainage complex components, or high-volume time periods.
