Dr. KlarX™ HD Concrete Cleaner is a powerful cleaner with minimum foaming properties allowing for an easier rinse.  It will remove mold, mildew, heavy deposits of oxidized waxes and polymers, thick layers of stubborn soils, greases and baked on deposits of carbon.  Ideal for removal of soot from fire damage, resins, gums, oils, inks, dyes, and soap scum.

 

Where to Use

Recommended for exterior use on concrete, brick, masonry, pavestone, flagstone, and pre-cast concrete.

Use Instructions

Exterior Cleaning

1. Test in inconspicuous area to confirm cleaning method being implemented.
2. Protect non-masonry surfaces with poly film.
3. Do not mix with other chemicals.
4. Prewet surface.
5. Apply diluted cleaner onto the surface with an airless spray pump or any sprayer to wet the surface.
6. Scrub the surface with a soft, fibered masonry nylon brush.
7. Let set for 2‒3 minutes. Do not let the cleaning solution dry on the concrete.
8. Thoroughly rinse off with water or pressure washing equipment using 100‒200 psi.
   1. Always use caution when using a pressure washer. Take care not to damage the underlying surface.
   2. To avoid streaking, keep the lower area wet at all times.
9. Repeat the above steps until stains are removed.

 

Tips

1. For interior cleaning:
   1. Provide adequate ventilation for air circulation.
   2. Protect non-cleaning surface.

 

Recommended Dilution Ratios:

• Brick-Concrete-Stone: 1 part cleaner with 2 parts water
• Masonry: 1 part cleaner with 5 parts water
• Tile Roofs: 1 part cleaner with 6 parts water
• Industrial Equipment: 1 part cleaner with 5 parts water
• Aluminum & Vinyl Siding: 1 part cleaner with 4 parts water

 

Adjust dilution ratios based on the level of buildup on surfaces.

 

Storage, Handling & Shelf Life

• Keep the container closed when not in use.
• Store out of direct sunlight. Keep from Freezing.
• Avoid temperatures
  > 100 °F or < 40 °F.
• Product can be stored up to 12 months.
• If the product is stored for a long time, lightly agitate, or shake well before use.

 

Safety

Keep out of reach of children.

Refer to SDS prior to use.

Keep product away from skin and eyes.

Do not swallow or ingest this product.

Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles while working with this product.

Remove contaminated clothing and DO NOT wear again until thoroughly cleaned.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

 

First Aid

EYES: Flush thoroughly with water.  If eye irritation persists, get medical attention.

SKIN: Flood the surface with water, using soap or baking soda freely. If burns appear, cover them with moist magnesia or baking soda.

INGESTION: Call a physician immediately; drink a teaspoon or more of milk of magnesia or baking soda.
